I used to see he and his ex-wife (she still managed him..go figga [img]wink.gif[/img] at the Rainbow in L.A. all the time. (back in the early 80's of course)He looked just like a little garden gnome.
I remember he would never reveal his age in interviews.
His reason? "My fans would be turned off if they knew how old I was" Hell I never cared, he had a fan in me from his days with Rainbow. "Stargazer"
is still one of my all time favorite HR/Metal
vocal performances. From what I've heard of his latest recordings he still sings well for a guy who's 20 years older than dirt. [img]biggrin.gif[/img]
